Denver & District is the newest pipe band in the Denver area. Officially formed in November, 2009, it is the union of the two oldest competing pipe bands in Colorado— the City of Denver pipe Band and Colorado Isle of Mull/St. Andrew Pipes & Drums. Denver & District competes and performs throughout Colorado and the Western U.S. They are led by Pipe Major Lise Nelson, Drum Major John Thornton and Drum Sergeant Drew McPheeters. They are affiliated with the St. Andrew Society of Colorado.

We practice on Monday nights, starting at 6:30 pm. Free instructions in piping and drumming. Location: St. James Episcopal Church, 8235 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge.
